Lincoln Park Zoo Communications
Worked collaboratively across departments and with photographers, illustrators, print vendors, and fabricators to translate organizational goals into creative solutions that enhanced the visitor experience, supported wildlife welfare and exhibits, and helped build community support for keeping Lincoln Park Zoo free for all. For the reopening of the Regenstein African Journey exhibit, I used the architectural renderings as a starting point for developing a visual identity for the marketing campaign, then oversaw its rollout across on-site signage, street banners, PR media kits, the visitor guide, postcards, and invitations. I also partnered with Membership to extend the campaign through a series of direct mail efforts, including a redesigned membership brochure and benefits packet. The combined efforts coincided with the exhibit’s grand reopening and contributed to a 20% increase in memberships over two months. Other projects included establishing creative direction for marketing campaigns supporting special events and programs, exhibit and wayfinding signage, seasonal street banners, visitor maps and guides, and corporate and public relations materials—creating a consistent visual experience across the zoo’s physical spaces and communications.
